New AOL Radio Player Gets a Boost From CBS

Wednesday June 11, 2008

AOL radio has announced on its blog that their new browser-based radio player will now be "CBS powered". What this means is that there will now be over 200 free radio stations that will not only include more music genres, but also news, sports and talk stations too. The new and improved radio player features the ability to pause a song, skip to the next one, review your song history, and use unlimited presets.

Unfortunately for existing users the new player won't have all your presets, these will have to be inputted again. Another change is that registration is no longer needed to use AOL Radio, simply use the new player within your browser to access all the radio stations for free.

AOL's new radio player is still in beta but already looks great and is easy to use. If you're looking for a streaming audio service with CBS radio content then it's well worth a look.

Isaac,
If you mean a song that you have produced, then you would have to submit it to an appropriate radio station for evaluation.
