Even though Apple has recently improved on its aging earbud design with the new Earpod, it could one day use a rather clever design that not only protects your hearing, but enhances digital music listening too. According to an article by Stuff magazine, Apple have shown great interest in Asius Technologies' invention.
The Bubble-based earbud uses an inflatable bubble (technically called a diaphonic acoustic transduction coupler) that fits in your ear canal. This technology is said to provide better audio quality at significantly lower volumes -- thus preventing the chances of your hearing being damaged too.
Stuff Magazine's report also reveals that talks have already been conducted with Apple in order to explore the potential application of their invention for use with Apple products.
