You may have used the iTunes software for a number of years in order to create your own compilations on compact disc (CD) and to backup your entire library. However, if you've upgraded to iTunes 11 you may be wondering where this burning facility is -- or even if it still works like it used to.
The good news is it's still in there, but you wouldn't think so at first glance. There's no option in iTunes' preferences as in previous versions for configuring the type of disc to burn. And there's definitely no burn button anywhere to be seen.
If you find this facility useful and miss it now you've upgraded, then follow our tutorial on how to burn music to CD / DVD in iTunes 11. It explains how you can burn audio CDs (playable on most audio equipment), MP3 CDs, and data discs (both CD and DVD).
