Lame_Enc: A Definition of the Lame MP3 Encoder

Definition:

The Lame encoder is a multi-platform open source audio library that is used for encoding to the MP3 format. The file, Lame_enc.dll, can be freely downloaded and is used by audio software such as Streamosaur to provide MP3 encoding. Once the Lame_enc.dll file has been downloaded, you can either copy it to your operating system's folder (Windows/System32 for PC), or to where you have installed your audio program. To download the latest Lame Encoder binary, either search for Lame_enc.dll using your favorite Internet search engine, or download it from the RareWares website.
