Where to Download Every Version of iTunes

Get older versions of iTunes with these links

Until the fall of 2019, if you had an iPhone or iPod or used Apple Music, you had to have iTunes. Then Apple discontinued iTunes for Mac in favor of separate Music and Podcast apps. Until then, Macs came with iTunes installed, but if you use Windows or Linux, or need a different version than the one you have, you can still download it.

Where to Download the Latest Version of iTunes

Windows users can download iTunes on the Microsoft Store. If you already have it on your computer, you can update iTunes to the latest version to get new features, bug fixes, and device support.

Macs running macOS Catalina or higher no longer run iTunes. Instead, they run a mix of Podcasts, Music, and TV apps. The iTunes app remains active for the Windows platform, however.

Download iTunes for Windows 64-bit

If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, download the 32-bit version of the program. However, if you use a 64-bit edition of Windows, download the 32-bit or 64-bit version.

Get the 64-bit edition of the latest version of iTunes or the 32-bit edition.

Where to Get iTunes for Linux

Apple doesn't make a version of iTunes specifically for Linux, but that doesn't mean Linux users can't run iTunes. It just takes a little more work.

Download Links for Old Versions of iTunes

If you need a version of iTunes that's not the latest and have a computer that can run older versions of iTunes, getting the right software isn't impossible, but it's not easy.

Apple doesn't provide download links for old versions of iTunes, though you can usually find a few versions if you search Apple's site. Here are links to the iTunes download pages:

If you need something older or if a download is missing from Apple's site, visit a software archive site such as OldApps.com or OldVersion.com. These websites have cataloged iTunes versions as far back as iTunes 4, which came out in 2003.

After you download the version of iTunes you need, set up iTunes on Windows.
