Introduction

If you’ve got music and other types of media files floating around your hard drive, then get organized! Making a media library using Windows Media Player (WMP) for example can save you heaps of time looking for the right song, genre or album and has other benefits - making playlists, burning custom CDs etc.

If you haven’t got Windows Media Player 11, then the latest version can be downloaded from Microsoft. Once downloaded and installed, run WMP and click on the Library tab at the top of the screen.
