Whether the contents of your music library has been accidentally deleted, corrupted, or wiped by a virus infection, knowing how to restore your iTunes songs is just as important as performing a backup. By learning how to restore your music before disaster strikes will enable you to get up and running in no time.

Here's How:

  1. Ensure the iTunes software is running and insert your backup disc.

  2. When the dialog box appears asking if you want to restore files, choose the option to overwrite the existing files.

  3. Finally, click on Restore and follow the on-screen instructions.
