Audio file metadata is extra information that is stored in a special container within the file. This data gives you information about the file such as artist, title, album, year, etc. Programs such as iTunes and Winamp can edit this meta information but it can be painfully slow when you have a lot of media files to edit.

TigoTago is a tag editor that can batch edit a selection of files in one go. For example, you can automatically fill in the track number of a group of files to fit the track list order of an album. TigoTago has useful functions to mass edit your music or media library with advanced tools like, search and replace, download CDDB album information, file re-order, change case, and file names from tags etc. By following this tutorial you can save yourself a huge amount of time by batch editing your media collection instead of editing each one manually.

The latest version of can be downloaded from the TigoTago website.
